  • Are you a member of any of the below professional bodies (please tick all that apply)?*
  • Do you hold an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in accountancy awarded by a recognised UK university? Please note dual award degree holders should mark 'yes' if 50% or more of modules covered accountancy topics. Details on recognised UK universities can be found here - https://www.gov.uk/check-university-award-degree*
  • Have you been awarded a qualification by a UK based professional accountancy body, even if you do not currently hold membership of that body? Or are you 'part-qualified' with a UK based professional accountancy body?*
  • Have you obtained any of the following qualifications (even if you are not currently a member of the awarding organisation)?*
  • Do you have at least two years' of experience in an accountancy role?*
  • Have you obtained five years' of experience in an accountancy or tax advisory role within a UK public practice setting? Please note if you have worked part time, this should be prorated. This experience may have been gained working as the principal of an accountancy practice.*
  • Unfortunatley you are unlikely to qualify for membership and we cannot continue your application. You could consider registering as a candidate on the CPAA Professional Certification in Public Practice Accountancy, which provides a route to membership.

  • Would you also like to apply for a Practising Certificate? Please note that if you are the principal of a public practice in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, you will need to apply for a practising certificate, even if you hold a practising certificate issued by another professional body.
  • Can you confirm that you are a member of UK based IFAC member body (or the AIA, IAB, CIOT or ATT) or have at least two years' experience in UK public practice setting?*

    I have never been expelled by a professional body for any reason. 
    I have not been made bankrupt within the last ten [10] years. 
    I have not entered into a voluntary agreement with creditors within the last ten [10] years. 
    I have not had a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against myself or a company through which I provide accountancy services. 
    I have not served as a Director of a company which has been made insolvent within the last [10] years. 
    I have not, within the last ten [10] years, been prevented from acting as a Director of a corporate entity within the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland, and have not within the last ten [10] years signed an undertaking to not act as a Director within any of the aforementioned jurisdictions. 
    I have no unspent criminal convictions. 
    I have never been found guilty of a money laundering or terrorist financing offence, in any jurisdiction in the world. 
    I have never been entered onto the 'Financial Sanction: consolidated list of targets' published by HM Treasury.
